Family and training information:

I was born in Achelia Pafos, a tiny village. I am the youngest child amongst nine born (six alive) from parents both originated from villages of Pafos district. After graduating the 2^ND Likion Pafou  , I entered the university of Athens for my M.D(1984- 1990 ). In 1991, I started my one year internship in Hillbrow hospital in Johannesburg South Africa. Thereafter, I continued my training in  Pediatrics initially as house-officer, later as junior and senior registrar. Once I  completed my training, I was appointed as a consultant in the neonatal unit in Coronation Hospital where I spent my two year training in neonatology. At the same time I  was involved with some research work. The one protocol involved neonates and it was my research material for the Master degree and the other was about asthmatic children and the whistle watch –a device monitoring peak flow(this article was published in the South African medical journal).

Recent professional activities:

I am working in Lemesos town since I came back in Cyprus in August 2000.I am in the Private sector.

My rooms are located in a house on the ground floor in Edessis street, number 3A.If you choose to come through the highway ,you must get off the highway at the Yermasoyia round about  turning toward Columbia and Carreffour Supermarket (ex- kolonakiou and now Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue). Just before Carreffour, you get on Edessis by turning to the left (Papas Supermarket street which leads you to Georgiou A avenue at Pizza Hut level (toward the sea). As you are on Edessis facing southward, you will find us on the right hand side.

Monday to Friday except Wednesday: from 8h00 until 14h00 and 16h00 until 20h00.

On Saturdays: from 8h00 until 13h00.
